It is constructed from multi-layer stainless steel sintered mesh, welded with a flange to form a complete circular disc. Filtration Mechanism
The disc filter combines surface filtration and depth filtration. Its compact grooves form intersecting flow channels, which create turbulence, intercepting impurities of different sizes throughout the layers.
Surface Filtration – Captures larger particles and coarse fibers.
Depth Filtration – Narrow channels intercept smaller particles deeper inside.
Automatic Backwashing – Triggered by time or pressure differential; discs open under reverse water flow, rotate, and release impurities efficiently.
